However, he gave up his previous life to step into an instructional design position, allowing him to work from home with a large virtual team made up of subject matter experts, curriculum managers and other professionals to design online courses and simplify content through media and visual aids. Unlike others interviewed on the podcast series, his transition was seamless since he was used to bringing his work home as a teacher. Therefore, he already had a specific working place that separates him from the rest of his family: wife Rachel, nine-year-old Mason, seven-year-old Lucy, five-year-old Gavin, and eight-month-old Claire. In addition, his wife has always helped him, allowing him to focus on work while she takes care of the kids and handles her own bakery startup.
