Hela is “officially” getting an upgrade to her comic version and it involves one of our favorite butchers. The new DC streaming service has been steadily announcing casting news for its upcoming ‘Titans’ live action show. Fox Studio’s ‘X-Force’ film likely just became twice as anticipated as it was last week based on the latest news. Marvel gets a big ol’ McFall-D&D boot to the back, as Disney responds to their prayers by altering the deal further. San Diego just had its major annual migration as the geek world made the pilgrimage and we’re talking about Marvel/Disney’s Avengers: Infinity War trailer. Are VFX losing effectiveness due to overuse and how does that affect Paul’s opinion? Somebody needs to check expiration dates on some older movie effects. Are the circumstances of the Snyders’ waning DCEU influence clearing or clouding? James Cameron is in the present, but is he trying to relive the past and retell a story about the future? Harrison Ford might not always shoot first, but he ALWAYS shoots best. Sad news, one of the greats is retiring. Good news, there’s more of a chance that someone else can win in the “Best Actor” category. Strange portents for the future of the DCEU; has Chris been right, all along?
