Tony Khan did the media rounds before AEW Grand Slam Mexico on Wednesday and blatantly lied to YAHOO FINANCE over the "success" of AEW in 2025. The numbers prove otherwise, and Tony Khan is a liar. Also, Seth Rollins may be adding a 4th man to his group, and it's two rising stars in NXT that are in consideration. SmackDown is in the books, and honestly, I was split on it. There were some solid moments, some forgettable stuff, and one segment that absolutely delivered. LA Knight got jumped by Bronson Reed after going after Seth Rollins again. Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn was strong, and Orton advancing to the King of the Ring finals makes sense. Same on the women’s side. Asuka beating Alexa Bliss was predictable, but it sets up a solid finals matchup. The highlight of the night? CM Punk and John Cena recreating the 2013 pipebomb segment. That was electric. It felt like a callback done right. Great delivery, great crowd reaction, and a rare reminder of how good WWE can still be when they lean into real emotion and history. The main event with Cena vs. R-Truth didn’t land quite as hard, and the DQ finish felt like filler, but the post-match storytelling saved it. Join
