Tom has merely trundled about on his electric bicycle this week. did get new tires for his GS, and rode a few miles to scrub the tires. This leads to Kevin’s question about what does constitute for each of us, and our listeners, what constitutes a ride? For Tom, and Larry, any distance on the motorcycle is a ride. Kevin asks now what is a quality ride. Tom says a safe one…Kevin looks for a longer distance, perhaps over 50 miles, to count as a quality ride. News: We learn that “The Long Way Up” will premiere sept. 18 on Apple Plus TV, and will air the first 3 episodes immediately, and then air the rest on a weekly basis. They couldn’t stop the people from coming, but they could have cancelled the rally. Kevin is hoping for the best, Larry is anticipating the worst. Tom points out that riding an electric bicycle gets you used to being out in the elements, having to wear the gear, and so on, similar to what you do with motorcycle rides.
