The Minnesota Wild are back in the playoffs, after finishing the season with the coveted 100 point mark. The Wild find themselves in a similar position as they did last year, with the 7th seed in the west, as they take on the hated St. Louis Blues, who were once considered the worst possible match up for Minnesota. Ever since March however, the Wild turned the tide between these teams, and the Blues playoff history leaves something to be desired, making this series ever winnable. Devin Dubnyk and the Minnesota Wild continued their winning ways this week, defeating two division rivals in Nashville and St.Louis. Washington franchise forward Alex Ovechkin, reminded us who the leading goal scorer in the NHL is, as he dazzled us all with two goals to beat Dubnyk in the X on Thursday. The Wild for the second week in a row, snake bit St Louis and their goalie Brian Elliot, though superstar Vlad Tarasenko played much better than he did the previous Saturday.
