Let Your Journey Begin

Take time to seek Jesus! Be still and know He is God! The world will try and distract you with all kinds of worries but be firm in your faith and seek first the kingdom of God knowing He will supply all your needs.

The Spirit clearly says that some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits.  If anyone ever teaches or preaches anything that goes against the Word of God, they are a false teacher.  Be aware in these last days.  Study the Word of God and prepare yourself for any deception. 

While there are many stories written about men in the Bible, never forget the power and purpose of the women behind the scenes! 

How many have struggled with a battle that belonged to The Lord? Surrender your fears to God Almighty.  Learn to trust and let go and let God! 

Make no mistake!  The Lord our God knows the desires of our hearts.  He knows the answers to our prayers before we even ask Him. 

Become aware of all the sounds of life that surround you.  That life is the Great "I Am"! 

Abraham's servant prayed for God to give him a sign that he would find the right woman to marry his son.  And before he finished praying, Rebekah showed up at the well!  Your prayers are heard.  God knows your requests before you even ask. Trust in the Lord.

God knows our troubles whether past, present or future. He also asks us to give Him our cares and concerns. We are to cast all our cares on Jesus.  When you are afraid or worried, ask God to help you release your concerns and rest in His almighty power. 

We are all human and fall easily into fear and worry. But our Lord Christ wants us to cast all our worries on Him.  He will take care of us.  All we have to do is believe!

Are we living a life pleasing to The Lord? He promises to be with us and delight in us when we live a life that pleases Him.  He even told us He would not let us fall when we stumble but would hold us with His mighty hand!  

It's easy to become obsessed with numbers!  How many 'likes' on Facebook or even money in the bank.  We need to trust God, stop counting the numbers and do the work He has called us to do!   

Grief is very much a human emotion.  We all experience grief.  But God does not want you to remain in mourning but to become all He is calling you to be and do all that He is calling you to do.  

If you have ever felt trapped with no escape and the problems of life seem to overwhelm you, remember the promises of The Lord! Be still and stand firm in your faith. 

We can learn how to draw close to God from the life of Jesus.  Notice how He made time to be alone to pray. 

How do we persevere these hard times in life? There are many answers to this question within God's Word. 

So many of my friends are suffering with the loss of their beloved pets.  Do not be dismayed!  I'm convinced there is a 'Rainbow Bridge' and they will be waiting to see you! 

It is life changing to have a renewed mind in Christ. Ask Jesus to help you renew your mind so that you can live life in abundance! 

We will never stand united to face the immorality in the world until we realize that we are all one body in Christ!

Having visited the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove, I came away wishing I could live in such a quiet and peaceful place.  But, Jesus calls us to go into the world.  We are to shine His light into the chaos, distrust and destruction.  He will be with us and bring peace into our hearts no matter where we live. 

How can we ever repay The Lord for everything He has done for us? Impossible! But what we can do is follow Him! Be His light in this dark world! Go out and spread the good news of His peace and joy!
