The Super Bowl was less than a month ago but we already have NFL news! This past week we saw some big names released, resigned and franchise tagged. In this episode we go over the moves that left some house hold names without a team and some players who now have a team for good.

This past week we saw All-star center Demarcus Cousins traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. Most saw the trade as one sided and we take a look at the impact this has for both the Kings and Pelicans. And with the All-star break over we give our takes on what to expect from the rest of the NBA season. 

This past week former WR Robert Meachem started serving a 30 day jail sentence due to unpaid child support and alimony payments. Meachem earned millions of dollars while playing and finds himself, like many, former athletes...broke. We discuss this week on the alarming percent of former players who struggle with finances post career and how they are essentially set up to fail. We also make fun of how bad the Brooklyn Nets are and how their roster resembles a D-League roster.

Why didn't Terrell Owens make the Hall of Fame? We take a look at why he should be and explain why he might not ever be inducted. And speaking of coming up short we take a look at why certain teams and franchises have been stuck in a vicious circle of losing and why they havent been able to overcome certain obstacles. And we close this weeks show with a special discussion of up coming movies in 2017 and which ones excite us the most.

Hey everyone we're back after a quick bye week and on this weeks show we talk some basketball. We take a look at the NBA standings half way through this season and give our takes on what we think so far this season. The NBA next season will start putting advertisement logos on their jerseys for the first time ever. Is this a big deal or is this just the league adapting to the way sports advertising is evolving?  With the number 1 & 2 ranked teams losing this week in college basketball, we will potentially have a new number 1 team next week and it might shock you who its going to be...Gonzaga! Do we think they can sustain their success the rest of the season and will they be dangerous this March? We've waited all year for this weekend in the NFL...it all comes down to this. Two teams enter...one team leaves victorious. We of course are talking about the NFL Pro Bowl! Should this game even be played anymore? Is it even worth watching?  The short simple answer...Nope. So enjoy the best NFL game this Sunday!

For some its unbearable to have your team come so close but come up short. Some might say they wish they didn't even make the championship because the loss hits home. My leg! In this weeks show we go over even more important NFL injuries to some big names. We breakdown how these injuries will impact their respective teams. After 2 weeks in the NFL season we have a handful of teams 0-2 and 2-0. Which 0-2 can turn their season around and make the playoffs? Which 2-0 team will stumble and not make the playoffs? We make our arguments for both sides. Lastly in the college football world...which teams do we see as legitimate contenders outside the obvious teams? Which teams do we see as pretenders?
