This weekend Pastor Jeff looks at one of the most shocking episodes in Mark's gospel, which involves Jesus spitting, putting his finger into a stranger's ears and apparently calling a woman a dog! We'll consider: is Jesus still amazing and surprising to us?

On this Father's Day, we look at Jesus talking with His FATHER, then heading out to rescue 12 friends in a storm. In the black of night with winds howling, He reminds them of WHO He is! One of the most profound moments in the Gospels.

This weekend is ‘Pentecost’ in the Christian calendar. We celebrate the day when the power of the Holy Spirit fell upon the fearful disciples, empowering them, transforming them, enabling them to be God’s people in God’s world. Surely we all need the same power, and thankfully, the same power is available!

God is mighty- but we can tie His hands with bad decisions and unbelief. We continue on Marks gospel, as Jesus tries to reach the people of His home town- without much success.

He Is Risen!

Tonight is Good Friday. Two days before Easter, we remember and reflect on the crucifixion of our Lord. The Apostle Paul reminds us that it was through the cross of Christ that God was “canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands . . . nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:13-15). Pastor Brent Cunningham will be teaching out of Matthew 26:14-29, looking at how Jesus used a Passover meal to explain what he was about do through his death and resurrection. We encourage you to find elements of bread and juice to participate in communion with us toward the end of the service.

This week Pastor Donny shares from Mark 4:1-20. He recounts a parable Jesus told about a man who sowed seed onto four types of soils. These soils Jesus compares to the four types of human hearts. The hope from this message is that people will identify which soil their heart is and identify ways to move their heart to fertile/fruitful good soil.
