Because of our sinful nature, this internal input is flawed and deceptive. God has given us "outside" input to gauge decisions by in The Bible. How can we know that the Bible is true and is excellent in everything that is says? Mike Abendroth shares what the Bible has to say about this and about how we should be making Biblical decisions.

Instead they headed back through all the cities they had been before encouraging the Churches in each city and appointing elders. Why did they do this? Why did they risk this dangerous journey? They were fullfilling the great commission in continuously teaching and instructing the disciples of Jesus Christ

Eventually they had to leave because their lives were threatened. Why did they endure this? Was there message wrong? Was not God blessing them in following His command? What drove these men to keep on traveling and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ?

First they go to Cypress where they preach the good news of Jesus Christ in the Synagogues first then to the Gentiles. They are met with resistance right away. Today being met with this kind of resistance one may think the Lord is not in it. Yet God has His reasons and His ways and they are faithful to preach the gospel to the people.

Ron Poarch preaches on Genesis 47:13-31 on May 25 2008. After Israel and the rest of Joseph's brothers arrived in Egypt, Joseph continued to labor on behalf of Pharoah. Because the famine was so bad all of Egypt gave their money, sold their livestock, sold their land, and themselves to Pharoah for food. This put all of the land and people of Egypt into Pharoah's hand. God had already rescued Israel from the famine, was there more God was goign to do with them or was Joseph now laboring in vain?

Yet one may wonder how does mediocrity happen even when people are going to Church regularly? Unfortunately this is happening more and more in local Churches. There is something we must pay close attention to or else suffer slipping. What is this? How can we lose our focus on such important things?

Ron Poarch preaches on Acts 11:19-30 on May 04 2008. Christians who were scattered abroad from the persecution related to Stevens martyrdom, come to Antioch preaching Jesus crucified. Many were coming to believe in Jesus and word of this reached Jerusalem. So they sent Barnabus to encourage the work who in turn went and got Saul (Paul) to teach them. In this way God created a major hub of Christianity.

Specifically the language surrounding the Day of the Lord, and for proper interpretation, we see how this language is used in the rest of the Bible (Isaiah 34, Ezekiel 32). This very practical issue may surprise many as to how God asks us ot submit to authorities and also what God's design is for government. What it is and what it is not supposed to be.

Ron Poarch preaches on 2 Peter 3:8-9 on April 13 2008. To God a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day... Many people use this passage to explain certain passages of scripture to be in God's timing. We look closely at this passage asking the question what does this passage refere to specifically, who is it referred to, and can this concept be applied to other areas of scripture? This is a difficult passage to wreslte through and we try to take an honest ans fair look at what the Bible has to say about this!

Ron Poarch preaches on Acts 10:23-11:18 on April 13 2008. God gives Peter a vision of things that God is now making clean and holy which were previously ocnsidered unclean before. God then leads Peter to a Gentiles home in Caesarea. Where they ask Peter to teach the full council of God. Peter preaches and they believe recieving the Holy Spirit just as the jews did at the day of Pentecost. This is a day of pentecost for the Gentiles, and God is showing them to spread the gospel to all the nations that the whole world may be blessed!
