What does God look at in people and leaders?

Saul's fall, God's warning, and the rejection of God as King over Israel. Where is your heart at? Saul's excuses indicate a larger concern for his own glory than for Gods, His fear leads to compromise, His sacrifice becoming more important than his obedience to God.

Why do we reject Gods leadership, but expect his grace?

What should you do when the weight of the world is on your shoulders? How should a leader lead?

What do we do with the good news of Christmas?

The shepherds were met by the Angel of the Lord and then by a company of angels. Telling them to come and see. What was the context of this telling? What made this birth so significant? Come and hear.

Why are Christians persecuted?

Peacemaker - a person who brings peace to those around them. In our world today we desperately need them. God promises us satisfaction, His smile on our lives if we are peacemakers. In fact when people see us they will say "That is God's child!" Listen in and hear about peacemaking and understanding judgement.

Mercy - boy do we need it. Our ongoing weakness can not afford the cost of the mistakes and wrong choices. The price is too much, we need mercy. Those around us need our mercy too. That is often a challenge. We need to draw from the mercy we find in Jesus to have strength for mercy for others. Jesus says also puts it out there, a condition for his forgiveness. Listen in and see how important mercy is to God.

What do we long for? What do we hunger and thirst for? What do we think will satisfy us? God shows us that if we hunger and thirst for righteousness we will be filled. God promises us that if we are pure we will see Him. Jesus showed the way. Listen in and find out...

Meekness is not weakness, but strength under control. Do we realize the power we have at our disposal? What would happen if we were meek, and were under control? What would happen if we rested in God being in control? We would have satisfaction in this life and the next.

Does Jesus just want us to be happy or are there times to cry? If we mourn, what do we mourn about?
