TalkISrael welcomes  Peter kurz, GM of Israel National teams, including the World Baseball Classic (WBC) abd Olympic teams.  Peter has served a the previous President, Secretary General, Manager and Coach in Israel Baseball Assoociation (IAB).  Peter has been fully on board for 20 years.  Peter made aliyah(moved to Israel) 35 years ago from NY.  Peter's love of Israel and love of baseball make his dedication to this sport and groeing ot in Israel a labor of love. Peter cerdits this passion to his younger year and speaks about when he was 10, he visited Israel for the summer, right after the 6 day War. When he was 12, the Mets won the world series.  Today, IAB is the arm for all of baseball in Israel, amateur and professional leagues.  Peter looks forward to hosting 16 top European teams at the European Championships in 2025 and to reaching the Olympics again in 2028.  Pleae join me in welcoming one of my favorite people, Peter Kurz.
