  • TalkISrael with host Anya Farber

    22/05/2023 Duration: 01h51min

TalkISrael is thrilled to welcome Inu.  He is the very first artist that I had he pleasure to sit down with, and interview in Israel.  You will enjoy learning not only about his music, but his background, and life.  An "open book" and talented conversationalist, Inu made me laugh harder than I have ever had, during our interview with one single line!  When asked about what musicians influenced him, the name Britney Spears came flying out of his mouth along with words like grateful for her influence (find the reel @anya_think_differenty on IG)  "it's Britney bitch"  Immediately following, he referenced lyrical legends like Eminem, Tupac, and Nas.   Inu is able to speak three languages, a bit of an IT nerd, video content creator ,an amazingly talented musician, but most of all an incredibly interesting person, who I am happy to know.   At the tender age of 11, he began to put lyrics on paper, at 18 he began writing hip hop songs.  His musical journey may surprise the listeners with it's diversity and depth, bu

  • Comedy Chat with Dany Redwine. Mental Health and comedy, are we crazy or nah?

    19/05/2023 Duration: 01h59min

We are going to talk about "crazy". Are all comedians crazy? I personally identify with the term 'crazy'. I know enough about myself that I say what I mean. If that constitutes me as such, well be it. However, some take offense to the word as though it holds this negative connotation. Most people that are outspoken are referred to as "off', "misunderstood" or "crazy". But what is that? Our upbringing, surroundings or how situations mold or shape us as an individual. I challenge this in a discussion because I believe mental health is thrown around loosely. Comedians may have some issues in their own individuals but they are no different than the average citizen. We just use our experiences as tools to be comical. Does'nt mean we are not rational or logical. In the times that we live in now, comedians are the only ones trying to bring about a good feeling. We are a drug to brain cells. Literally. Let's talk about how some have spoken out about mental illness as we may gain enlightenment, in the minds and lives
