6 Years ago my good friend Tom Studdy and myself did an all night b2b at the now defunkt Play Bar. It was a big big night with big big vibes. We're fortunate enough to have the great, the talented, the lovely, the Australian Institution that is Garage Pressure coming down to play for us on April 1st at Cosmic Boogie. To celebrate Farj has done a very special radio show for us from Eastside FM full of new and old incredible 4x4 UKG. We've been away for a bit and we've missed you. Over the last few months since our soiree in January we've been asking ourselves, in which direction does this party shift. We've found an answer. In early September we were blessed to host Sofia Gonzalez for a 2h set in the main bar of The Lord Gladstone. It was a glorious ride through all the colours in the techno spectrum. Seamlessly rolling through sounds and textures, light and dark, dense and fluffy. It was a gorgeous set and we're thrilled to be able to share it with you here. Lachy MacNeill doesn't get out to play very often but when he does you really hope to be there. Ex full time Falcona DJ turned Buzz speaker hire facilitator is an absolute secret weapon and we're thrilled to have had him roll through to showcase his skills. This last outing was quite a set, weaving between soo many different styles and tempos like an old hand. It was an absolute treat. Thanks Lachy for coming to share your tastes with us. We were truly privileged to have Bocconcini come down to play for us at our August session. She absolutely delivered the goods with 2 hours of smooth and lovely tunes shifting tempos and styles seamlessly. Ai Ai Ai, next up on the release from August 6th, our brother from another mother, the artist formerly known as Ya Boy Marvo, Brother Nature. Brother nature opened the proceedings that day and what a gorgeous collections of music he played. I (Rubio) can honestly say I've listened to this recording each morning since the day of the event. Akul, Akul, Akul... Who's Akul...? Asks nobody in Sydney or most of Europe by now. This dude is taking over! We're so here for it. From his almost viral free releases of edits of Gimme Da Weed, and the Round The Twist theme, to a solid back catalogue of tunes on the much respected Extra Spicy and Finespun labels, known for their incredible production quality, Akul is fast becoming a star in the worldwide UKG scene. We couldn't be happier to have brought Akul on board for the July party. We set him a task of combining his 2 loves over the course of two hours. Play some UKG, finish on Jungle. Tragedy struck at the 11th hour on the 2nd of July. Trusty Cosmic Boogie Co-Pilot Tom Penny was struck down with Covid the morning of the event causing him to miss the event

What can be said about the man that is Swisherman? He's a hard man to pin down in terms of Genre or style. Taste maker might be one way, journeyman might be another... In any case, as you can plainly tell from this mix, Swisherman can deliver the goods. Supporter of moods on their weekly Mood Support radio show on Orbital Radio, A long term part of the Dunj Crew and revered Skylounge proprietor, you can find him in the club, or at regular festival slots playing a range of Hard techno, to Drum & Bass, to Jungle, Dubstep, Jazz, Deep house, UKG, downtempo and ambient... you get the idea. A peek at the music collection of Swisherman is highly sought after. In early July he got down with us to deliver a gorgeous set that both banged and was simultaneously beautiful. G'day groovers, this month I've got a very special show, and a very special announcement. As of August, we'll be running a monthly club night at Tokyo Sing Song on top of our first Saturday party at the Gladstone, which is also being extended until 3am! This is super exciting for us as it welcomes in a new era of Cosmic Boogie! Expect big diverse sounds like the ones you're going to hear in this mix. Traversing genres, grooves, sounds, styles, ideas and feelings each month, this mix perfectly encapsulates what you can expect us to be doing down in the glitter dungeon. You may not have heard of Shake Daddy before the party in July, for those of you who were there at least, she's the new kid on the block. This multi hyphenated talent has recently moved from Naarm, right at the start of Covid (unfortunate), and she certainly knows how to bring the house down. Rave reviews flying all evening! Shake daddy is most definitely one to look out for in Eora’s party scene. Check the recording of her set at the party and be sure to keep an eye out for her name over the next few months. The 4th and final recording from our June party comes from the very lovely and very talented Talé! She came through and laid down a fabulously eclectic set of bass, UKG and house music, with a soulful tinge. It was a pleasure to witness in person, and it's a pleasure to listen back to. What can we say about Revived Pleasure... in the short time we've been running this party at The Lord Gladstone, he's the only man we've booked twice. There's a very good reason for that, as you, dear listener, are about to experience (if you weren't there on the day to witness it live). Revived Pleasure is a true student of the craft, the amount of time spent digging, coordinating, sorting, digitising and honing the skills you need to produce an output like this, is truly astonishing. Alex is a truly under utilised and under celebrated stalwart of the Sydney underground music community.
