Detectives linked this murder to other local missing people, including Susan Rushworth and Shelley Armitage. On the Friday, Suzanne Blamires went missing from her housing association home in the Allerton district of Bradford. Her family were immediately concerned for her welfare, but for the police Suzanne – or Amber as she was known on the streets - was a sex worker with a heroin habit and in a life that was often chaotic, they had little to go on. And by Monday Suzanne still hadn’t been found. The local pub near Cambridge were hosting a Halloween party. Chris and Rebecca West weren't planning to go, they fancied a quiet night in watching TV with a takeaway. The international crime gang had planned everything, covered every detail.And as 33 year old Andrew Cole stood on the deck, he realised that his whole life depended on what happened in the next few hours. This week on the UK True Crime Podcast, a Serial Killer.When Police Constable David Haigh was asked to deliver a summons to a poacher, it was quite a routine procedure for a police officers covering such a rural area. However, when the officer failed to return and couldn’t be contacted, his colleague PC Mick Clipston was sent out to find the missing officer. As he approached the tree lined, picnic area known as Norwood Edge he came upon a police car in a clearing at the side of the road with the doors open. As he got closer and parked he could see somebody was laid next to the car. Carradale is a village on the east coast of Kintyre, off the west coast of Scotland and looking over the west coast of the Isle of Aaron in the Firth of Clyde. The harbour at Carradale is sheltered and looks out at the deep waters of Kibrannan Sound and then the towering mountains of Aaron. It is a beautiful, peaceful spot and if you look carefully, you will see a small memorial plaque on the harbour wall, commemorating the crew of the FV Antares, who lost their lives at sea. It was just another normal day at the Harvey Nichols flagship store in Knightsbridge.  As the day was drawing to a close at about 7.50pm, 22 year old Clare Bernal was finishing up her shift in the beauty department. This week, the UK True Crime podcast is from Cambuslang, about 6 miles southeast of the centre of Glasgow, as I look at a terrifying double murder.The body of 36 year-old taxi driver Cathy McChord was found with her body crammed into the boot of the car, with the meter still running. Cathy’s cigarette lighter, inhaler and car keys placed in a straight-line. Suggesting a ritualistic element to the crime.Two months after Cathy’s murder another body was found when 48 year-old Elizabeth Walton was found in the grounds of her daughter’s school. After declining a lift home, Elizabeth was attacked and then strangled as she walked back home from an evening out.
