Meet Jason's friend Bryan Wilson. He's a former ad exec who brought you the Star Wars M&M M-PIRE campaign and who has worked on ad campaigns with Lucasfilm an Michael Bay. Bryan has also invented a super cool/fun board game based on movies called Schmovie. This week we welcome Mr. Mike Appling to the show.  Mike is the creator of TrooperBay.com, THE place to shop online for all your Stormtrooper cos-play needs!  We talk to Mike about what it takes to turn your passion into a business, we get a little wonky about Stormtrooper armor and the 501st, Mike shares some "insider information" about Anovos, and he tells what could possibly be the funniest Star Wars origin story I have ever heard.   This week, we also bring back Mr. Steve Greenwood to the show.  Steve was one of our earliest guests, and he is the co-founder of Wookiepedia.com.  I talk to Steve about the chances we have of getting The Expanded Fandomverse into "The Wook.".  The short answer… no. BUT, he does leave us with a sliver of hope!   We bring back "The News" section to the show this time around.  There was just so much stuff announced and released this week, that we felt we had to talk about it!   What kind of podcasters would be be if we didn't?

Sometimes, it's the simple things in life…   Our guest this week, Mr. Marcelo Zuniga, had a simple idea, which quickly took off and went viral.  Marcelo has a YouTube channel that is pretty much, nothing but Star Wars clips.  Well, recently, he put together a side by side comparison of the theatrical releases and the multiple "special editions" we've had over the years.   Like I said, simple.     This is stuff we, as Star Wars fans know about, and have all seen before.  But, when he put posted it on YouTube, it soon spread like wildfire!  It was featured on Nerdist, io9, Collider, Geekology, Slate, Indiewire, Screenrant, and many many MANY others.   Marcelo and I have a conversation about all the changes, giving our opinions on what works, what doesn't, what bothers us, and what we would like to change.   Also this week, we unceremoniously mark our one year anniversary!  Yes, The Expanded Fandomverse has been coming your way for a year now!  I

Another month comes to a close, and that means it's time for The Expanded Comicverse, our monthly show were we recap, review and go into just a little bit too much detail about all the new Star Wars comic books from Marvel Comics. This month, Allen and I and joined by Matt Moore, half of the team behind the great new Star Wars comics themed podcast, "Comics with Kenobi".   This time around we ask if Boba Fett isn't the bad-ass we all think he is when we discuss Star Wars #6, we wonder if a father and son can bond through anger when talking about Darth Vader #6, we skirt the line of bad taste (and maybe cross it) when discussing the social issues presenting in Princes Leia #4, and then we try to anticipate whats next for Kanan, when we dive into the third issue of his series.
