Later, Spiegel's buddy Boston Ricky joins him in studio after his first trip to Wrigley Field on Saturday.

Later, the Sultan of Stat, Chris Kamka gets us Kamka-connected on this fine Sunday morning. 

Matt Spiegel opened his show by breaking down the recent play of the Cubs and the White Sox. He then listened back to NBC Sports Chicago color analyst Steve Stone share his belief that he expects this White Sox regime to remain in place despite the team's prolonged struggles. Later, Spiegel admitted he was wrong about this Cubs team, which isn't ready to win now and should consider selling right-hander Marcus Stroman and center fielder Cody Bellinger at the trade deadline.

In the final hour, Matt Spiegel was joined by former White Sox executive Dan Evans, who's currently the chief operating officer of the Field of Dreams site. He was in Chicago this weekend for the SABR Convention and discussed the state of MLB. Later, Spiegel played a clip from his interview with broadcaster Dan Shulman on his The PBP: Voices of Baseball podcast before chuckling about a moment on the Cubs broadcast Saturday.

In the second hour, Matt Spiegel was joined by Marquee Sports Network color analyst Jim Deshaies to discuss the Cubs splitting the first two games of their series against the Yankees. Deshaies also shared his appreciation for Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks and remembered making his MLB debut at Yankee Stadium back in 1984.
