On October 9th, 2010, 24-year old Unique Harris spent the evening at her Washington, DC apartment with her two young sons and 9-year-old cousin. They had a movie night planned. Unique spoke to her grandfather that evening and he could hear the kids in the background and popcorn popping. Unique put the kids to bed that night and later vanished. The children awoke the following morning and couldn't find Unique. 7-month-old Christopher Abeyta disappeared from his crib on July 15, 1986. His family lived in a quiet neighborhood of Colorado Springs, Colorado and were in the habit of leaving their doors unlocked. They ran downstairs to find the front door left open. The investigation focused on the family for a long time but in recent years, a person of interest has been identified. Even though detectives focused so much on the family, that didn't stop the Abeyta's from searching on their own. 27-year-old La'Ron Harris disappeared from Akron, Ohio in the early morning hours of February 21, 2016. A woman called 911 that morning claiming that she and La'Ron had crashed into the Cuyahoga River. When the car was pulled out of the river, La'Ron was not inside. Extensive searches were conducted but no trace of La'Ron has ever been found. 31-year-old Zachary Kennedy disappeared from Long Beach, California on October 22, 2017. He had been at a friend's house that evening when all activity on his phone suddenly stopped and his phone powered down. On the evening of October 13th, 2016, 23-year-old Jesse Leopold was working a shift at his job in Jewell, Iowa. During a break, he left after telling his supervisor that he needed to get his medication. Jesse never returned to work and was never seen again.
