Historically reasons for people getting married were for families to band together, to form alliances, and to expand the family's labor force. The concept of romantic love came later, around the 12th century and has shaped much of the today's modern concepts of marriage. Rev. Arlene Kahet, and Rev. Harve L. Why do relationships have to be so hard? What am I doing wrong? Why can't I find the one?   Have you ever asked any of these questions.  Maybe this sounds familiar; Women are crazy, Men are stupid, He (She) just don't just don't understand, Men don't listen, women don't know what they want, All men cheat, women are bitches. If you have said or agreed with any of these statements then you have the wrong idea of what a relationship is and what it is for. Yes their is a purpose for relationships not just companionship or sex. The true purpose is a Spiritual one and if you want to have a better more fulfilling relationship, I'm not talking about going to church together or at all for that matter, this is not about changing your religious beliefs or sexual habits, though they may change for the better, it's about changing your paradigm about relationships.
