We don't blame the teachers. We blame their bosses who decide what nonsense to teach the kids and what fundamental things they fuck up. Case in point: the Manifesto of Trippy Trev. Matt reads Trippy's Manifesto, written to persuade his love-interest's best friend that she shouldn't hate him and should give him a chance. We agree, Trippy. Back in the Inside Radio days, we often let Trippy James Trev play his song parodies and included the goings-on in his life in the show. Let's face it, an 18 year-old does more interesting things with his time than two 37 year-olds do. And, yay, tho they may be trivial and sometimes annoying things, it's all new to the 18 year-old and its his or her wide-eyed wonderment that entertains us.    But, apparently, Pete had had enough with Trippy playing his song parodied (which really weren't parodies inasmuch as they were just songs rearranged to serve his ego. Well, another season has come to a close. This is a shorter season, as you may have noticed. That's basically the fault of the holidays coming up. We've decided that between holiday shopping, holiday parties and Pete's Christmas Ballet Recital (he's a great dancer), it would be best if we just took the rest of the year off. HOWEVER, this is no reason for you, our loyal listener, to feel despondent. I mean, after all, you come to Checked Out for an escape from the insanity of your world. And nothing is more insane than the Christmas Season. So, to help you, we will release "Checked Out's Best-Of Bits", which are shorts best-of bits taken from previous shows. We'll even throw in some "between takes" stuff.    This episode is a long one. Isn't it? Look at the time. Wow! Almost three hours. Why is that? A few reasons: 1) we were drunk, 2) Pete was rushing us and craftsmanship had to take a back seat, 3) Matt won't have the time to edit two shows, 4) Obama, 5) ISIS and 6) because that's the way we fucking did it.

It's finally here, adoring fans! Fresh off an appearance on "Drinking Dirty in Jersey", the Beer Snob and his crew from the hit web-series, "The Beer Snob", stop by our show. Recorded live from the empty warehouse that will soon be the Czig Meister Brewery, Matt, Pete and Jimmy hold their first "big deal" of a show. Not only did we have the Beer Snob, but the show was videotaped, Marquis Allen came all the way out to Hackettstown to just sing a few lines for us, Superfan Mark, was on for November's Listener Appreciation and Matt Czigler not only had plenty of insanely great beer on tap (FINALLY!), but he also drew the Brew Class Contest winner's name from Jimmy the I-talian's greasy fedora. Woah! That was one long and poorly constructed sentence.    But the moment the world has waited for for months finally comes at the end when we pit the Beer Snob against the Brew Master in our first (and probably last) playing of JeopBEERdy with host, ALEx Trebrew. It's a rare, but very welcomed event, when a listener and fan stops by the studio. In this case, our fan, Tom, and his wife, who is also a fan of the show, Christen, stop by the studio. Christen has to drop something off to Pete's wife. Tom, wanders around aimlessly until finding us in the garage. He stop and stares for a bit, hiding just inside the darkness of the night. The planned Gettysburg trip was doomed from the start. Jimmy the I-talian fell ill the night before the team had to leave, our Sunday-night guest was stuck in Baltimore and had to reschedule for Monday and Matt and Pete were exhausted.    BUT, on the plus side, the most important part of the trip went off without a hitch.
