One of the problems with navigation software is the reliance on crowdsourced or late input data into the system. There is a company that believes they have solved part of the problem by creating a way for official sources to input real time road closures or lane closures or other roadway restrictions in real time that is then delivered to your favorite traffic app. The small UK tech company is called One.Network and they have a traffic operations software that they developed that can help all of us as we drive.
