Human Factors Cast E001 - Pilot and Pokemon Go
15/07/2016 Duration: 01h05minTo listen to our remastered episode, become an all access patron and find the content here:https://www.patreon.com/posts/e001-remastered-78717549We have to admit, our first podcast episode was a bit of a mess. We were excited to jump into the world of podcasting, but we quickly realized that we had a lot to learn. We talked about Pokemon Go for way too long, and while it was fun for us, it probably wasn't very interesting for anyone else. But fear not! Over the years, we've learned from our mistakes, and we've gone back and remastered the episode to make it something that we can be proud(ish) of (let's be honest here, we've done the best we could with the audio quality). We took out all the Pokemon Go stuff (sorry, Pikachu!), and we've turned it into an evergreen episode for our ALL ACCESS Patrons that focuses on introducing the concepts of Human Factors and Usability Heuristics. Our pilot episode talks about the field of Human Factors, and we evaluate Pokemon Go using Jakob Nielsen's usability heuristics.
