Sure, motherhood is full of love - but let’s be honest, it’s also full of mess, doubt, and moments you didn’t see coming. That tending to your child’s needs can so easily eclipse your own. We’re offering three essential “bumper bars” — like rails on a bowling lane — to help you navigate the dance between mothering your children and mothering yourself. In this episode we discuss:•Why loving your child as an extension of you can be beautiful — and why it’s not the whole story•The hidden cost of always putting your child’s needs above your own•Bumper Bar #1: Don’t ignore your creative impulses — why your creative fire is life-giving and how t
