11.21.16 - The Babadook
21/11/2016 Duration: 53minNo it is not October anymore, but when a horror film comes up on the randomizer, we have to watch it! This week we bring you the review of The Babadook. It was a gem of the week a long time ago, and now you can finally hear what we think of it! It stars literally no one, and is the first feature from a relatively unkown writer/director. But may I just go ahead and tell you, it's a pretty good flick! Check out this episode!

11.17.16 - Interstellar
18/11/2016 Duration: 01h00sSomething like in a galaxy far, far, away... well that's not quite right.. anyways. This week we bring you a review of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. The Film, which stars a load of talent including Matthew McConaughey, Michael Caine, and Jessica Chastain among others, brings to life a futuristic world where the world is going to poop (not literally) and we need to find a new place to live. It's both amazing and terrible, in ways that we thoroughly get into. Check out this episode to get our full thoughts on this flick!

This week we reviewed Prisoners, and watched Jakenhall and Huge Ackman slug it out in this hard-hitting drama! With exceptional performances from nearly everyone, this film is downright gripping. You also get another exceptional performance from cinematographer Roger Deakins. Check out this episode, you won't regret it! There are tons of our usual antics; more than we've had in a while.
-
11.7.16 - The Adjustment Bureau
07/11/2016 Duration: 58minAlthough it didn't make our Top 5 of chick flicks (which is totally in this episode by the way), The Adjustment Bureau is a sci-fi/romance flick that we were tasked with reviewing this week! Starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, among other recognizable faces, this film features a very interesting theme and story. We think it might even be better than the story the movie told. Join us, and our special guest Amber Cronican, as we dive deep into The Adjustment Bureau! This is an episode you won't want to miss.

03/11/2016 Duration: 01h10minOctober is finally over, and we are finally done with our month of Halloween/horror films! That's why we're bringing you a review of Dredd! This 80s reboot stars Karl Urban and Cersei Lannister, and is action-packed from start to finish. Tons and tons of digressions, as usual, but we love this episode nonetheless. Also in store is a new gem, and wonderful top 5! Enjoy the show!

10.31.16 Halloween
31/10/2016 Duration: 01h08minCan we acknowledge that doing Halloween on Halloween was a great idea? And I want to let you know, we don't half ass things around here! That's why we didn't review that crappy Rob Zombie Halloween, and we decided to go old-school and do John Carpenter's Halloween. Michael Myers makes his debut in this haunting horror! Definitely check out the episode!

Never mind that now! Listen in on our jumbled mess review of Invasion Of The Body Snatchers. We disagree all over this movie, get side-tracked a ton, and Mike even does a fantasy basketball draft mid-show! There's a lot of hilarity in here, you just gotta listen to find it!

24/10/2016 Duration: 47minSince we love Halloween so much, we are continuing our month of horror/Halloween movie reviews! On this episode we bring you a listener request, Hocus Pocus. Starring Bette Midler, SJP, Kathy Najimy, and a bunch of other people that were most likely in Disney Channel Original Movies, Hocus Pocus brings to life a story of three witches who were brought back to life on Halloween. If you haven't seen it, your childhood must've been awful.. Anyways, check out this episode and all of our others at nothingbutreelreviews.com.

20/10/2016 Duration: 50minJim Varney has range. We're talking Oscar-worthy range. Don't believe us? Just check out this week's reviewer pick, Ernest Scared Stupid. 10.17.16 - The Strangers
17/10/2016 Duration: 01h04minIn what we classify as the best of the bad horror flicks, The Strangers is an interesting film. It brings in almost every horror trope in the book, and yet we liked it for the most part. Starring Tugg Speedman and Die Tyler, this film brings all the suspense you could every want, and then kills it right away. Don't believe me? Check out our full review. Also, listen in and find out the hotly awaited Top 5 from Mike Lucas's mother.

10.13.16 - The Shining
13/10/2016 Duration: 53minThis week we reviewed one of the most recognized films in all of cinema, The Shining. Directed by Stanley Kubrick, The Shining brings you a slow-paced horror that has some truly shocking elements, and exceptional attention to detail. All of this is fine and dandy, however, we may have rated it as others might've anticipated. I guess you'll have to listen to the entire episode to figure things out!

10.10.16 Suspiria
10/10/2016 Duration: 53minA film that none of us likely would have never seen before, Suspiria. We dive deep into this film, and tell you exactly how good or bad it really is. Check out this episode to find out exactly what we thought.
-
10.6.16 Mindhunters
06/10/2016 Duration: 53minWe hit the ground running with this episode! Right off the top we preface it with, Mindhunters is not a good film, which saves anyone time from taking this episode too seriously... which is exactly what Mindhunters did. Although it may not be good or perfect, this film brings together a bad cast and poor directing. So it's a hot mess.. maybe in a good way? Check out Mindhunters and click on this episode to see what you're missing! Guess I've found your biggest weakness, clickbait.

10.2.16 The Thing (1982)
03/10/2016 Duration: 56minTo kick off an entire month of horror films, we decided to start with one of the best, John Carpenter's The Thing. Unlike many new horror movies, The Thing builds suspense, and doesn't rely on cheap jump-scare tactics. Starring Kurt Russell, and pretty much no other big names, this film takes you into the Antarctic wilderness to discover alien life. Check out this episode to see what we exactly thought about this cult classic. If you haven't already, check out our website, nothingbutreelreviews.com. We have plenty of content on there that you won't find on our website!

9.29.16 The Village
29/09/2016 Duration: 59minBigger than a township, but smaller than a city. This week we bring you a review of The Village. In what may be a case of a bad script made good, this film brings you one of M. Night Shyamalan noteworthy twists. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody, Dallas Bryce Howard, and William Hurt among others, and brings to life a wonderful love story with many drama/thriller elements. Check out this episode to get our full thoughts on the movie. Be sure to check out our website, Nothingbutreelreviews.com. There you'll find plenty of extra content, and other amazing and fun stuff!

9.25.16 Death Becomes Her
26/09/2016 Duration: 51minJoin us as we get into our very first review featuring a guest! This week we opened our studio up and brought NBRR&M mega-fan Margaret in to join us in a review of Death Becomes Her. The movie stars Bruce Willy, Goldie Hawn, and Meryl Streep and gets zanier as the movie progresses. We all agreed that this has a very Beetlejuice, Tim Burton, Addams Family vibe to it. Don't take this text's word for it, check out the movie and check out our show!

9.22.16 Tombstone
22/09/2016 Duration: 01h03minUnfortunately we are not reviewing a Tombstone pizza this week, we are reviewing the Wyatt Earpian flick Tombstone. (Although I probably would've given a Tombstone pizza a better score, just saying). Join us as we dive into this old-west action flick that stars Val Kilmer, Bill Paxton, a dude with a huge stache, and another guy with a stache twice the size of the other guy's. I make jokes; point is check out our show! Also, send us an email at podcast@nothingbutreelreviews.com. Website will launch before our next show airs! Yaaaaaaaaaay! Also, the intro to this show is kinda long, but I find it quite hilarious.
