Red Memories: Ray Houghton reflects on 1987/88 league title win 32 years since sealing No 17

Having arrived from Oxford United in the September of that season, Houghton would go on to form a key part of Kenny Dalglish's side as they claimed the club's 17th league title with a 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on April 23, 1988. Houghton reflects on the day itself, the season as a whole, as Liverpool went 29-games unbeaten from the start of the campaign, as well as looking to Jurgen Klopp's current crop, who have been compared a number of times with the 87-88 heroes.
