Jurgen Klopp confirmed Thiago will not be back for Sunday’s massive Premier League match at Manchester City at his final pre-match press conference at Melwood. Klopp, who will soon move his first-team squad and coaching staff to the club’s new training ground in Kirkby, did not put a timescale on the Spanish midfielder’s return. The manager confirmed both Naby Keita and Joel Matip have returned to full training, whilst Thiago Alcanatara remains a doubt.
