On June 26, 2010, a woman named Larene Austin rushes into the Palmdale Sheriff's Office to let them know that she had found her best friend, LaNell Barsock, murdered. She also tells detectives that before she fled LaNell's house, she had seen LaNell's boyfriend, Louis Bonheuer, at the top of the stairs.
