Shelton plays the main character Jack Bronson in the film. The film also stars Dave Bautista, Ni Ni, Mark Chao and is directed by Mattihas Hoene.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the Guardians travel throughout the cosmos as they help Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.
