    In 1952, two General Motors executives, Albert Jones, and Charles Culhane traveled to Crater Lake National Park near Klamath Falls, Oregon for a work/leisure weekend. Their wives were waiting for them at a cabin but the two businessmen never showed up. They were later found murdered in the park. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this case that has mystified people for almost 70 years. A number of potential suspects have surfaced of that time but no one has ever been convicted of the murders. Theories as to who was behind the murders range from the mafia to a local gang who robbed and killed tourists. But, after all these years the question remains, who killed Albert and Charles? A witness said they saw Bronwynne being forced into a car with four men. An unidentified caller later told police who was responsible. There has been and continues to be, a lot of speculation about who was involved in Bronwynne's murder. But, to this day, not a single person has been held accountable for the crime.     On October 16th, 2000, 40-year-old Regina Bos went to Duggans pub in Lincoln, Nebraska to play some music. She left early the next morning at 1:00 am and was never seen again. Her prized guitar was found inside the open trunk of her which was parked across the street from the pub. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious disappearance of Regina Bos. Regina had three children, a boyfriend, and two ex-husbands. Her boyfriend and exes were looked at by police but there have not been any arrests.     In 1995, 18-year-old Tina McMenamin was a college student at the University of Nebraska. She was living in an apartment with her childhood friend, going to school, and working at Godfather's pizza. On Tuesday, July 25th of that year, Tina failed to show up for her shift at work and was later found dead inside her apartment by her roommate. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Tina McMenamin. The investigators determined that the window for Tina's killer to strike was a very small one. But, they could not piece together a motive or zero in on the perpetrator. Based on DNA results in 1996, which could only limit the pool of suspects down a small degree, the police arrested a man named Gregory Gabel. Gabel had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and did have a history of being inappropriate with women. But, was he Tina's killer?     In 1984, 35-year-old Margaret Tapp, a single mother, and her 9-year-old daughter, Seana Tapp, were found dead in their home on 13 Kelvin Drive, in Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia. This case horrified residents as fears of a pedophilic attacker circulated throughout the neighborhood. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murders of Margaret and Seana Tapp. Margaret Tapp was highly sociable and was well acquainted with many people. This meant that there were many potential suspects, which made it difficult for investigators to find the culprit. Despite the severity of the crime, the case remains unsolved for over three decades.   • The Denver Hammer Murders

    In 1984, the Denver, Colorado area experienced a number of sexual assaults and brutal murders that were carried out by a hammer-wielding perpetrator. He became known as the Denver hammer murderer or the Aurora hammer murderer. Regardless of the name used, there was no doubt this was a vicious predator. But, the police had no luck in catching him. It wasn't until 2018 that the Denver police got a DNA hit in Codis that their DNA evidence belonged to a man named Alex Christopher Ewing. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this brutal series of crimes in the Denver area. Alex Ewing was taken just a few years ago after Nevada passed legislation requiring prisoners convicted of certain offenses to submit DNA. That's how Denver police got their match. They eventually were able to extradite Ewing back to Colorado and charge him with a slew of crimes. The evidence looks compelling but he has not yet had his day in court.     In 2006, four women were found dead behind a seedy motel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. All four shared many similarities and had been killed within two months of one another. The authorities feared they had a serial killer on their hands, a person that many have dubbed The Eastbound Strangler. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the lives and murders of Kimberly Raffo, Tracy Roberts, Molly Diltz, and Barbara Breider, collectively known as The Atlantic City Four. Were they all murdered by one person known as The Eastbound Strangler? If so, who is this individual, and what happened to him? Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the kidnapping of Virginia Piper, what was called by the FBI at the time the most successful kidnapping ever pulled off. Her abductors demanded 1 million dollars and Harry was willing to do anything to get his wife back safely. He succeeded but the FBI had two big questions to answer: who pulled this off and where was the money? They eventually settled in on two suspects. But, did they have the correct guys?     Ten-year-old Linda Weldy stepped off her school bus on February 24th, 1987, and was never seen alive again. Police believe that she made it to the end of her long driveway before she was taken from her Indiana home. Three weeks later, Linda's body was found just fifteen minutes from her home atop an old trestle bridge. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the case of the abduction and murder of little Linda Weldy. The police were not called until after 11:00 PM the night Linda went missing because her mother worked second shift and her mother's boyfriend believed Linda was staying at a friend's house. The police began their investigation by looking at the family and then outward. But, they have never been able to come up with a motive for Linda's murder. A detective now working the cold case believes he knows who the murderer is but as of now does not have enough evidence to announce it or move forward.     On April 14th, 1984, a newborn baby boy was found strangled and stabbed in Kerry County, Ireland. The baby became known as Baby John. The ensuing investigation would come to be regarded as one of the most controversial in Ireland's history. The police focused their attention on unwed mothers due to extremely low social views of unwed mothers. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss this interesting case out of Ireland. The police investigation quickly led to a woman who had recently been pregnant. Because this woman was not married she tried to give birth on her own and the baby died. But, the police didn't believe her and they felt that she was responsible for the death of Baby John.     In 2011, Ellen Greenberg was a young school teacher in the Philadelphia, PA area. She was engaged and set to be married to Sam Goldberg. But, on January 26th of that year, Ellen was found dead inside the apartment she shared with Sam. She had been stabbed 20 times, and after some back and forth, the authorities ruled it a suicide. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious death of Ellen Greenberg. Her family was upset by the ruling of suicide by both the police and the medical examiner. How could have Ellen, who her family said was squeamish about getting her ears pierced, stabbed herself 20 times, and left a knife lodged in her chest? There are a number of things that don't seem to add up about this case and mysteries that have yet to be answered. His wife Honey was the more outgoing of the two and she was into a number of different philanthropic pursuits. But, in December of that year, both Barry and Honey were found in their lap pool room dead with belts around their necks. The police initially ruled it a murder/suicide. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious murders of Barry and Honey Sherman. Barry had made a number of enemies throughout the years. Many of these came from his rise in the business world, but, he also made enemies within his extended family. The Sherman children knew there was no way this could have been a murder/suicide, and they put their considerable resources to work through an independent investigation and autopsy to prove that it was not.   • The Somerton Man

    In 1948, a mystery began that has spanned over 70 years when a man was found dead on Somerton beach in Australia. The authorities had to figure out who the man was because he had no identification on him. They also had to figure out what happened to him. The initial thought by the medical examiner was that he was poisoned but they found no traces of poison in his system. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss one of the most interesting mysteries over the past 70 years. You will often see this case also referred to as the Tamam Shud case. This resulted from a piece of paper found on the man with these words on it which had been ripped from a copy of the book Rubaiyat. There have been many theories over the years including one that the man was a spy and was eliminated in such a fashion that it has left the police stumped. School had just let out the two teenagers headed off on the evening of June 25th to go swimming at the creek not far from their home. That was the last time they were seen alive by their parents. These are the type that keeps parents up at night worried about their children and what time they'll be home. Kathy and George-Ann were friends and neighbors, trying to enjoy the start of their summer vacation. The area where they lived and were killed is just outside of Rochester, New York. That area has seen its share of heinous murders over the years. But, who killed these two teenagers? One man has a good idea that it was a monster who, back in 1966, preyed on innocent adolescent girls. The fact that both individuals were tourists from other countries made some think that the killer was a local preying on female tourists. Victoria's murder was brutal and the crime scene was very difficult for police to work. And the area was rocked shortly after her murder by the actions of Martin Bryant.     In 1977, two women were murdered inside of a house on Easey Street in Collingwood, Australia. In total, 27-year-old Sue Bartlett and 28-year-old Suzanne Armstrong were stabbed over 80 times. This was an extremely brutal scene, but, police have been unable to identify the person or persons responsible. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murders on Easey Street. Sue and Suzanne had moved into the house together the year before they were murdered. Police looked at boyfriends and acquaintances of both women. This case involves a lot of strange details. Two different men were known to have been inside the house after the murders, but before the bodies were discovered. Neither man said they saw or heard anything unusual, including Suzanne's 16-month-old, Gregory, who was later found inside the home.
