Missaligned Reads is back this week! This season, our book pick was Kim Gordon's Girl in a Band. It was a fascinating read for both of us. It dove deep into Kim Gordon's life pre-Sonic Youth, as well as life in the band as well. A common theme in the book deals with this quote that Gordon seemed to receive a lot: “What’s it like to be a girl in a band?”

This season's going to focus on the music industry, specifically the voices within the industry that tend to get overshadowed.
