Synopsis
Now in it's 11th year, Subject:CINEMA, from film website eCinemaOne is one of the longest running film podcasts in the short history of podcasting!Launching in June 2006, and still with it's original hosts, Subject:CINEMA is MORE than just your average movie review show - it endeavors to bring film entertainment to the masses. In addition to reviews of the latest films around, hosts TC Kirkham and Kim Brown also bring you the latest film news each week on Reel Rewind; critical analysis of individual films on MicroFocus; discuss the latest film topics on Freeze Frame; bring you the latest festival updates on Fethival Flash; spotlight a little known gem on Under The Radar; and hit a variety of rotating regular features including Cult Classics, Kung Fu Klass-kicks, Drive In Dungeon, Front Row Five and Ten, Save Our Screens, Crowdfunders, Rising Star Update, and more!Subject:CINEMA is also home to some of the most successful franchise shows in film podcasting, including our indepth "Fethivals" franchise - The Fethival of Film Fethivals (January, spotlighting Sundance, Slamdance, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Victoria, Berlinale, and Big Sky Documentary); Boston Springs A Fehtival (May, spotlighting Metro Boston's seven spring festivals),; and the Fall Fethival Fiethta (September, spotlighting Venice, Telluride, Toronto, Fantastic Fest, New York, and several smaller festivals).
