Mark Cooper who is ½ of the production duo Sound Proof is a Music Producer and Nerdcore Artist based out Detroit, Michigan. You may recognize him. He has performed at some of the top Comic-Cons around the country. The iStandard Beat Showcase winner is set to release a webseries and album entitled “I Am Player One”. J57 is a music artist, producer, sound designer and independent label owner from Brooklyn, New York.  There’s just not much this guy can’t do.   The Brown Bag Allstar is well on his way to greatness.  How can you tell, ask his mentor DJ Premier.  He has produced tracks for Method Man, Raekwon, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, Large Professor, Joel Ortiz and many more. 

Jumbo Beatz is a Music Producer and Audio Engineer based out of the Philadelphia area. The veteran producer has been a pillar in the Philly Hip-Hop scene for a while. He has worked with a lot of prominent Philly artists like Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, Freeway, Memphis Bleek, Neefbucks, Young Chris, Peedie Crack, Joey Jihad and many more.

Theory Hazit is an music artist, producer and filmmaker from Winchester, Kentucky now residing in Portland, Oregon. He has released several albums of his own including Bless Your Food, Halftime Show, Extra Credit and many more. He is also an iStandard Producer Showcase Winner. His production credits include artists Redman, Kokaine, Masta Ace, Casual, Illmaculate, Onry Ozzborn, Braile, Libretto, Jabee and many more.

Samarei is a Music Producer, DJ, Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist from Portland, Oregon. He is a graduate of Portland State University, where he studied music Composition. The iStandard Showcase winner has worked with artist and producers Illmaculate, J. Pinder, Luck One, Glenn Waco, Mic Capes, The Olympicks and past Beats Grind & Life guest Trox.

Lectirq is a Music Producer, Engineer, Remixer and Multi-Instrumentalist from the Philadelphia area. He has made a name for himself by collaborating with other EDM and House musicians and by joining the award-winning group Matrax. Since that time he has gone solo and has made music with pop artists Chase J, Trini Savah, past Beats Grind & Life guest The Symphony and many more.

Oscrowley is a Music Producer, Engineer, Songwriter and Musician out of South New Jersey. Over the years he has worked with talented musicians like Inflewence, Luke Whitherspoon, N8O, Rhymescenic, Kamiko Writes, Jay Todd, Ohenny Savant, Baby Blak and many more.

Evo is a Music Producer, Engineer and Multi Instrumentalist based out of the Philadelphia area. He is as versatile as they come because of his wide range of musical knowledge. Because of his ability to adapt, he has been able to play music with many artists and bands in many different genres. Over the years Evo has collaborated with Cardiak, Pop Wansel, Ken Lewis, Chill Moody, Kaydence, ESPN and many more.

Milano Kaye is a fast rising producer out of Rochester, NY but now residing Tampa, Florida. He is a producer that has been influenced by the golden age of New York Hip Hop, and patterns his music after guys like the legendary Rza, Havoc and DJ Premier. Milano is on course to becoming a boom bap legend himself. He has just started doing music full-time and has already landed placements with Big Remo, Fred the Godson and many others.

Ka’miko, also known as Kamikowrites is an up and coming songwriter and aspiring artist based out of the Delaware area. She has been writing and recording songs since she was 14 years old. All that hard work has paid off. She has worked with super producers The Olympicks, past Beats Grind and Life guests The Ratchet Gxds, as well as Evo, Bangallure, Oscrowley and many more.

Cornelio Austin is an American Producer, Songwriter and Singer based out of Los Angeles, California. The Grammy nominated producer is a graduate of Full Sail University and has become one of the top R&B producers in the industry. He has produced for artists BJ The Chicago Kid, Chris Brown, Lela James, Busta Rhymes, K-Ci & JoJo, Jesse Powell, Goapele, Derek Minor and many more.

Darrell “Digga” Branch is a legendary Grammy nominated music producer that has worked in the music industry for almost two decades. He has worked with and produced artists such as Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Ghostface, Cam’Ron and many more. He has sold well over 30 million units. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed book, “The Beat Game: The Truth About Hip-Hop Music Production”. Also to add to his resume, he is an educator at the SAE Institute in Atlanta, GA.

Oomahmi is an American music producer representing Seattle, Washington. She started making music in 2015 when her father passed away. Since that time she has been on fire. With established mentors like Sound Oracle and Krucial Keys, she is no doubt ready to make an impact in the music industry. Raw Nois3 is a producer and sound designer from outside the Philadelphia, PA area. He has been producing music for the past 13 years. Raw Nois3 has recently gained recognition through his series of sound libraries he has made, which are now available on rawnoise.com and maschinemasters.com

DJ Pain 1 is a native of Wisconsin who aspires to grow the hip-hop, specifically the production culture through educating and giving back with sound kits. He is known for his versatility with his beats as he has crafted bangers for Young Jeezy, Public Enemy, Smoke Dza, Ludacris, Slaughterhouse, 50 Cent, Jahiem and many more.

Young Tech is an artist/producer representing New Orleans, Lousiana. You may have heard some of production with artists such as Ace Hood, Big Krit, Murs, French Montana and many more. Young Tech is set to release his new EP ‘Change’ in the fall with the hit single ‘Nostalgia’, which just hit 1 million streams and is available on SoundCloud, iTunes, Tidal and Spotify.

This week on Beats Grind & Life we got another Ratchet Gxd with us.  Last but not least, Cain The Producer joins us to talk about his musical journey.  He is 1/3 of the team Ratchet Gxds.  A 2015 iStandard Beat Showcase Winner. Cain has worked with artists like Roscoe P. Coldchain, Warchild and Jimmy Wallstreet.  Just recently the Ratchet Gxds handled most of the production and were Executive Producers of the highly anticipated Kaydence album 'Pen Piper'.  Listen to this interview to hear Cain talk about how the Ratchet Gxds were formed, how he worked two jobs a day and still managed to make beats and how the Kaydence album came about.  Dope interview with lots of value.  Check it out.

After working closely with Streetrunner, Tarik has landed placements with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, The Game, John Legend, Royce Da 59 and DJ Khaled. He is also blazing a trail of his own by signing a deal with Universal Music in France.
