William Franklin Graham IV (Will) is the third generation of Grahams to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the banner of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Will is the grandson of Billy Graham and the oldest son of Franklin Graham. The first of Will’s crusade-style events—called Celebrations—took place in 2006 in Leduc, Alberta, Canada. His first Celebration on United States soil came later that year in Gastonia, N.C. Since then, he has held evangelistic outreaches on six continents around the world.

We have a special guest speaker David Hogan founder of Freedom Ministry in 1981. This work has reached many countries in Latin America. The work continues to grow through preaching an uncompromising Gospel of Jesus Christ with many missionaries coming alongside to finish the same vision of winning Mexico and the world for Jesus. There are now over six hundred churches and many missions throughout Mexico. David and Debbie live in Mexico and now have four grown children, Jo-d, Crystal, Joy and Luis. All four of their children have worked with their families alongside their parents in the ministry. Now involved in many international ministry opportunities he continues to preach this unmoving Gospel that radically changes the way Christians think about the possibilities of God for their lives and the lives of those around them.

It was a pleasure to have Dr. Patricia Weerakoon speaking at our church recently. Here's a bit about Dr. Patricia. Christians claim to know God – the God who, having created us, tells us how to act in healthy, life-affirming ways, including how to behave sexually. The Christian church has a positive duty to help people form a healthy sexual self-identity, and behave in healthy, appropriate ways. As an Evangelical Christian, all of Patricia’s work flows from a Biblical, Christ-centred worldview. She has spent many years developing a framework of Biblically informed seminars and lectures in healthy human sexuality. Her presentations challenge the listeners to reflect on how they could better live their whole lives including their sexuality to God’s glory. Her presentations are appropriate for a range of audiences. Some talks are specifically focussed on building up Christians at different stages of life; while others are evangelistic and appeal to a broader group. Enjoy!
