As followers of Christ, we are collectively called to be one thing: a light. However, it’s not as easy as it may seem. So how DO we become a light? What does a light look like? What are the barriers to becoming a light? And what happens when we all step into that calling?

As believers, we must understand that spiritual warfare is real. And if a child of God does not understand they are a soldier at war, they are unknowingly living as a casualty of war. So then, how must we live in the midst of a fight? How do we recognize attacks from the enemy? How do we overcome darkness? And how can we partner with God through it all?

Understanding a biblical perspective of debt is crucial to living a healthy, Christian life. The effects of debt can not only handcuff what God wants to ultimately do through you, but if we don’t get it under control, it can be crippling. So where does debt come from? How does God actually feel about debt? And if you’re currently in debt, how do you get out of it?

Because we all have different experiences, we all see money in different ways. However, as believers in the body of Christ, the question is: how does God see money? What does the Bible say about it? And how can we better steward what God has placed in our hands once we grasp this new understanding?

We all know that God is sovereign, having all power and all authority. However, that doesn’t mean as believers, we just get to sit back and enjoy the ride. God asks US to partner with HIM to bring His Kingdom to earth. But how do we do that? Where do we start? What would change, and more importantly, what COULD change, if the body took their place to serve and love the people God has placed around us?

One thing we know for certain — it is impossible to walk out the life God has called us to live apart from prayer. So how do we live as a "people" of prayer? Join us as we walk through ten practical steps on how to pray well, learn the significance of praying often, and discover the significant impact of praying fervently.

When we take a true look at our sin through the eyes of God, it completely changes our perspective. We must ask ourselves: How do we see the sins of others? Why do we often fixate on the sins of others? How should we see our own sin? And most importantly, how does God see our sin?

Apart from Jesus, darkness is our natural reality, but as believers in Jesus, we have access to the Light of the World. But what does light actually do? Why do we need it? How do we get it? And once we have the Light, what do we do with it?

The story of Blind Bartimaeus reveals much about the character of Jesus -- “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asks Bartimaeus. And today, we ponder that same question. Do you know what you need? Do you know the area of your life that Jesus can step in a fill the void? What could happen if we invited Him into the healing process? Remember, He meets you where you are, and He’s more near than you realize.

The influence of a father (or parent) has generational impact, and a father’s influence on his children builds an image of God for them to embrace. So what does an influential father look like? How do we become one? And what generational impact can it have once we embrace the process?

Becoming a disciple of Jesus means walking in and practicing the way of Jesus. But the journey of a disciple which leads to life, requires you to go down a road that feels like death. It’s not for the faint of heart. So how do we get to a place of discipline? What practices must we put in place? And how do we remain faithful through it all?

Did you know that God can still speak to you and through you? He speaks in several ways, but one of the biggest ways is through the gift of prophecy — but prophecy is often misunderstood. Why do so many have concern over prophecy? Why are people offended by prophecy? And why would people ever NOT want a prophetic word?

It's one of the most untapped cheat codes in the Kingdom -- but it's also one of the most misunderstood. What does it truly mean to pray in the spirit? Where does it talk about tongues in the Bible? And by using it, how can we partner with the Holy Spirit to fight our enemy on a whole other level?

It was one of Jesus' primary messages on Earth --- "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the kingdom of Heaven is near." --- but how are we actually living with a day-to-day urgency of this truth? It's in the wilderness seasons of life that God shapes us in to the person that He desires us to be. But what perspective can we keep in the wilderness? What can we learn there? And what can happen if we use it to actually carry us into what God desires of us next?

When you think of the Holy Spirit, do you think of Him as a friend? The fact is, whether you do or not, that is His ultimate desire. But how can we reframe our thinking to see Him that way? Why does He even want to be a friend? And what does it look like when we put our full trust in His direction for our lives?

Are you under a weight? Weight is heavy. Weight is a burden. Weight can be crushing. But, it’s amazing how much weight can be lifted when we lift it up in prayer. This week, we take intentional time to pray over fours “weights” in life — the weight of worry, the weight of waiting, the weight of someone you love & the weight of wrestling.

It's a weighty thought to realize that we can disappoint and sadden the Holy Spirit. If we want to fully embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we must first understand that the Holy Spirit can be quenched. But how does it happen? When does it happen? And what can we do to attune to the sensitive nature of the Holy Spirit to ensure we allow Him to do what He wants, in and through our lives?
