Beyond 1st Level

A temple collapsing around The Rains feet, they must use everything in their arsenals to escape being trapped underneath. Afterwords The Rain is led by Ishi to the city of Arcadis…Or so they thought they were.

The Rain starts the new “day” with a new realization made by Riku. Also, they find Ishi in a new room with a new puzzle. I wonder what elegant solution there will be too, and its a fight. But wait, thats not a normal end to a fight? You found what in the bag of holding? 

The Rain finds themselves stranded in the middle of the Elemental Planes: Earth Plane. Ishi knows the way home, but without food or water, it’s going to be a rough journey home. After 8 hours of walking its time to long rest yet, the sun isn’t even past midday. Everything means nothing if The Rain can’t eat or get out of the sun… What's that giant shadow on the horizon?

In this special episode, we have David (DM) joined by The Rain; Riku (Will), Airis (Cesar), Ishi (Kelley), Naida (Sam), summarizing and sharing their thoughts about the campaign and episodes 21 through 30 of Beyond 1st Level. What was going through Sam's head during all this Yuan-ti Business? Does the Rain think they can get back to the Material Planes? A third question. Roth kicked off the Beast Duels early and boy Does The Rain not disappoint. 2 more rounds of fights against admirable foes in locations the The Rain have deep in their memories. The End of the third fights goes off with a bang. What is Roth scheming and will The Rain see it coming?

The Rain is awoken by an announcement, “Everyone report to the Exodus Arena”. Uh oh. Do you think this may have to do with last night? “It’s about the Yuan-ti bodies found last night”. It might. With the crowd still hating Lindsey, they offer the Rain to be the first to be investigated. How will the Rain work there way through this one? And how will Roth React to Nadia’s presence in the city?

With the battle between The Shroud Vs. The Yuan-ti seemingly over, The Rain search the hall for the final Snake. When they find him things become even more a web then once thought. Nadia seems particularly interested in the events happening. What is she hiding from The Rain and more so, What is Sam hiding from her fellow players?

What would you think happens when opening an arcane locked door underneath the city? You find the thieves guild known as The Shroud. Riku tries to talk with them and gain there trust when word of a Yuan-ti has been cornered! There's not much time Riku, it's time to earn your trust. Why wouldn't Nadia want you to go into that building?

As The Rain comes off 2 huge victories in the first 2 games, Riku cashes in on his plug of the Top Hat and goes to get his free stuff. Being Again by a secret door, The Rain decides to really check out where the secret room leads.

While the Mage Duels have been long fought, Riku finds himself in the finals against Toxal, The Green Dragonborn cowboy from the east. Following their match, Ishi finally has his time to shine in the strength competition. Will R.A.I.N prevail in the first two competitions?

Riku heads into the semi-finals of the mage duels, Ishi has an opening up with Aralee, Nadia goes off with Lindsey again, and Airis has his fortune read. How can you fit all of this in one episode?

Riku, Airis, and Nadia partake in the Mage Duels opening rounds while Ishi trains to get a better handle on his newly healed arm. With all these new faces and adventures, what kind of new abilities will we see? How will Ishi adjust to being two-handed again? Find out on Beyond 1st Level.

Rain prepares for the Solstice games by doing a little shopping and collecting their thoughts before the Mage Duels begin. Nadia opens up to Lindsey and the group isn't there for it. Will her party ever find out about her secretive past?

Ishi has finally found Aralee and their emotions overflow. That is short lived after the fact of Ishi’s arm is shown in all its gruesomeness. Aralee will heal it but it won’t be pretty. Hopefully, Ishi can survive it, the opening ceremonies are later tonight. If you're a little squeamish. This may not be the session for you.

With the serious talks continued from last week, our group becomes a little closer to each other. Just in time for them to reach the city. After a little walking and planning, they find themselves outside the Colosseum and looking for a sponsor to get them inside to hopefully find Ishis lost teammate. Being so close to where everything has lead them, will Rain find Aralee?

The Gang takes it easy on the ship, The Hull, as they are on their way to Zasai. They meet some old friends and make some new ones. With some downtime on their hands, they finally can get to know each other and start asking the hard questions.

The Collective of Rain finds themselves in a predicament, get through the city in time to catch the last boat to Zasai or be stuck here for 2 more weeks. Will they make it to the boat? With that huge of a ship, who all will they run into on it?

The gang finally might have a name? R.A.I.N. Who knows, they never seem to have an idea of things till they are in the middle of things. Whether its taking care of a baby owlbear, messing with bimbos Or getting high in a magic shop, one thing is for sure; They just keep getting thrown things that challenge them. This is a game, right?

The Gang finally gets out of the cave and are caught in a fairly sticky situation. After which they finally make it to the Port of Vancaster. With New people and old being met, where will this new leg of their journey take them?
