ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ 2:10 പിന്നെ ആ തലമുറ ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചേർന്നു; അവരുടെ ശേഷം യഹോവയെയും അവൻ   യിസ്രായേലിന്നു വേണ്ടി ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും അറിയാത്ത വേറൊരു തലമുറ ഉണ്ടായി. Judges 2:10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. ഈ കാലത്ത് ദൈവീക നന്മ അനുഭവിച്ചവർ തന്നെ നന്ദികേടിന്റെ പര്യായം ആയി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു !.
