When we are operating out of the flesh and our worldly idea of the world, we operate using our personalities. When we are operating out of the greater good, wanting to share a part of us that we don't understand, we are operating out of of our soul. Our soul is god-like, it yearns for everlasting life. Our personality is temporary, its a face that we put on as our spiritual selves have a physical experience. There is a quote that we are spiritual beings having a human experience and I truly believe that this is true. Oprah mentions this a lot when she interviewed Gary Zukav about his book "The Seat of the Soul". A recommended read by the way, it will open your perspective to this podcast.
