Jadestone Vintage Soul is a unique opportunity for listeners to hear an eclectic mix of disco, afrobeat, gospel funk, lounge, jazz fusion, neo-soul, boogie, groove, breakbeat, blues, hip hop, jungle, reggae, Blaxploitation soundtrack, turntablism and ’60/’70s protest music punctuated by fun husband-wife discussions about the artists and the music.

Hosted by Baba and Iya Cratediggers, with their three children as occasional guests (their one-year old, Lorne the "Jazzy Leo," is actually billed as the show's Creative Director), Jadestone Vintage Soul exposes listeners to the ENTIRE catalogs of such record labels as Stax/Volt, Curtom, Hi, Motown/Tamla, Chess, Goldwax, Philadelphia International/TSOP, Shout, Brunswick, Soul Train/SOLAR, Philly Groove label and Salsoul.
