Daily Verse With Jairus February 19 2024, Mark 6 verse 4. A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and among his relatives and his own household. That reminds me a Chinese saying, we respect the monk from the other town or from foreign town. In other words, the monks in our own town are not respected. It's a Chinese idiom but it is basically saying a prophet is not respected in your own town. Let's not talk about prophet. Let's talk about that God often speaks through our circumstances, through the friends uh relatives, coworkers and even our spouse in our life but often times we cannot recognize that's the voice of the Lord.
