Locked On Jets

The New York Jets are set to start their 2024 preseason this weekend with a game against the Washington Commanders. They get to take on the Commanders even earlier than that, however. The teams will conduct a pair of joint practices ahead of the game. Why do the Jets conduct these joint practices?
