Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson were just two friends and young actresses in 1959. They were performing on a USO tour in Japan when they stumbled upon 11 young orphans in need of loving homes. What happened next would take them on the lifetime journey as they dedicated their lives to fighting child abuse and neglect abroad and then in the U.S. They founded Childhelp, the nation's oldest and largest nonprofit dedicated to fighting child abuse and neglect, and still lead the organization today.
