Cultural identity is a sense of belonging to a group based on numerous cultural categories, not just nationality or gender. Sam Thiara is a British-born Canadian. His parents grew up in Fiji and his grandparents are from India. As an adult, this lecturer, storyteller, author, and mentor longed to know more about his family in India. With nothing more than a faded photograph, he set out on an amazing journey of discovery.
