Over the last couple years, taking a cue from my friend and mentor, Lewis Howes, I’ve made it my own personal mission to connect as many people as possible. Once you see that it’s a gift to connect two people who need each other – it’s a no brainer. So how do you go about connecting people? First off, when you meet new people or even when you’re talking to an old friend, get present and LISTEN! I know it sounds simple, but by really tuning in and learning what their goals are or what they’re passionate about, you’re able to connect them with others who have an expertise in an area they need help with or maybe they know someone who does. I’ve started making mental notes of everyone I talk to and lately, I’m able to connect them to someone else who can help them immediately. And it feels amazing!
