She graduated as a teacher / director and her thesis also centered on the role of a theatre-maker as a professional trainer within business environments. Anne-Maartje then briefly worked as a trainer as well as skilled actor who gave a diverse array of workshops on the subject of presentation techniques and non-verbal communication. While working at a reputable training agency, she also specialized as a Personal Behavioural Consultant in Effective Communication. Anne-Maartje furthermore took courses in rational emotive (behavioral) Training and also in leadership and group dynamics (group relations). In 2006, she set up her own Consultancy Training agency to develop customized programs for several multi-nationals and other companies.
