The comedian known as Fig (whose real name is Craig Figueiredo) was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he attended school and was often referred to as the class clown as a teen. As an adult and discovering his comedic talent, Fig joined a church named ZOE Ministries where he became a part of an improv group named the ZOE PLAYERS. With the popularity of the improv group, and after hearing time after time “you missed your calling”the comedian Fig decided to give his natural comedic ability a chance to make people laugh a go. This lead him to try his hand at a possible professional career in comedy as he found his way to the UPTOWN Comedy Club which was an underground comedy club known for it’s urban comedy highlighting many comedians, and was located on 125th Street in the heart of Harlem, NY.
