Christopher ‘Ras Bekk’ Beckford Jamaican born was influenced by the great Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Jah Cure & Anthony B, Ras Bekk created his original sound, utilizing their inspiration and creating a unique sound of his own. In 2006, he built his own sound ‘Lion Love’ and began doing his own song writing recording.All of his original rhythms are either created in his studio or his partner Dreadnut’s studio in Germany. Some of the original rhythms include:’ More Ganja’ on the Lucky Strike Rhythm ‘Don’t Mess with Rasta’ on the Envious rhythm ‘Jamaica Mi Born’ on the Gangster Paradise Rhythm Born Everton Dennis E-Dee. The single "Revolution" featuring Irie Love, a remake of the classic hit by the Prince of Reggae, Dennis Brown, reached as far as 3 on Richie B's Top 20 Reggae Charts in Jamaica.The single was nominated for Best Reggae Collaboration of the Year at the Excellence in Music and Entertainment (EME) Awards. The video reached number 1 on the Reggae Top 10 Charts in the US, Jamaica, and Europe.
