Synopsis

  Sydney Salmon became a member of the orthodox faith, Twelve Tribes of Israel and joined its music body as a guitarist and lead singer.  He performed with this musical group producing hits such as “Africa Is Our Home”, “I Wonder” and “Shashemane on my Mind”.  As a devout Rastafarian, he took the bold step to leave his comfortable life in New Yorkand repatriated to Ethiopiain 2001.  He used Reggae Music as the medium to spread the message of universal justice and one love.  Through his fundraising efforts, he worked tirelessly for the Jamaican Rastafarian Development Community in Shashemane.     Jahmel was born in Kingston, Jamaica. A Twelve Tribe member, Jahmel started singing way back in his KingstonCollegedays. He migrated to the United Statesand was discovered by music producer, Roydale (Andy) Anderson. Andy first heard him on the mike in a dancehall in upstate, Rochester, New York.
