Recently there has been a national conversation regarding abortion and who has the right to tell a woman when she can or cannot end the life of her unborn fetus. Several states have passed or enacted bans and restrictions regarding abortion with the most recent being the state of Alabama who passed a nearly complete ban on the procedure. However many see these recent restrictions and bans as an avenue to having the supreme court of the united states to reevaluate the 1973 law Roe v. Wade. On the show today we will be discussing this topic and other aspects such as should a father be included in the decision to abort the fetus. Should state and federal governments determine whether a woman can or cannot have an abortion and why are there so many women legislators voting in favor of the bans and restrictions; do they really feel that way or are they just going with the flow to maintain their political office and standing?
