Recent evnets in the NFL has demonstrated how public opinion can cause a major sports league to do about faces and go against their own rulings and beliefs. Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy,Ray Rice and Ray McDonald all have learned just how important public opinion can truly be. Politicians often follow surveys and polls, which take into account public opinion of constituency. How many politicians actually pay attention to these polls other than around election time.
