Balasa Prasad, MD, is a British-trained psychiatrist and an American-trained, board-certified anesthesiologist. He is the chairman of the anesthesia department at Mount Vernon Hospital in Mount Vernon, New York.  Lovell has been buried alive twice - an escape Houdini once performed and said it was too dangerous to ever perform again, shackled and dropped into the Singapore River, cut celebrity Paris Hilton in half, read the mind of personality Nicole Richie and was challenged by the U.S. Military.
