Notably, she significantly shaped & hosted VH1’s emergence onto the scene as a channel in its own right with shows of importance like ‘VH1’s Women First’ a series that profiled significant women in the music industry worldwide.  She went on to make history as host of LATER w/ Cynthia Garrett for NBC Network making her the first woman of color to ever host a network late night show!
